I have a B.A. in Piano Performance and am currently teaching piano in the Fairbanks and Delta Junction vicinities. Since age 7, I have taken piano very seriously. I earned \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Command Performance\u00e2\u20ac\u009d at age 18, which was the highest award in the ASAA Alaska State Music Festival.<\/p>\n
Later, while attending Pensacola Christian College, I won their annual concerto contest, and also earned a 3.7 gpa. I had many opportunities, while at college, to fine tune my piano skills. I took specific classes in piano health that showed me how to play the piano without injury. Since graduating from college in 2004, I have become certified through the Music Teachers’ National Association.
